December part 2

(just keep swimming, just keep swimming...almost caught up)

Hudson loved his Christmas party at school. And I love that I have the opportunity to be there for things like that!

Pin the tail on the snowman

My boys!
Sweet Barnes will forever love his life in that wrap. Baby K'tan....the best thing ever for this third child.
Lillian's party was the next day.
And in true Sissy form these days, she was camera dodging.
He love for Walt Mitchell runs strong!
Sweet Sissy
Since I'm not a crafty pintrest mom, I LOVED getting all these wonderful Christmas crafts from school. I know I will treasure them forever!
So the day before school let out for Christmas (for almost 3 weeks), Barnes got HFM. Ughhhh!
This was our first experience with this awful, terrible virus. Somehow, it skipped the big kids who actually go to school and went straight for the innocent baby that stays home with me all day, errry day. Dr. Jones said Barnes' case was one of the worst he'd ever seen...and there isn't a thing in the world you can do, just have to wait it out. Bless him. He was miserable!
Please look at those legs. It was heartbreaking.
After the initial few days of fever and being irritable, Barnes was pretty much back to normal (minus the bumps on his legs that took forever to heal).
This baby loves his Papa!
After 10 days of being quarantined, we loaded up and headed to Louisiana to visit the Beacoms and meet baby Cooper! After two beautiful girls, Jonathon and Heather got their sweet baby boy!

These babies have grown up together!
Barnes, Lillilan, Hudson, Claire, Cooper and Kathryn.
I miss my sweet friend so much! Before they moved, we would literally spend every weekend together. So ready for them to move back!

December, part 1

And we are rolling into December (a month late)

The holidays are SO MUCH FUN with children. And this year, Hudson was all things Santa, Christmas decorations, basically anything Christmas related. We really tried to emphasize Jesus' birthday and the real meaning of Christmas. But it was fun to talk to Hudson about what he wanted for presents and such. That was a first for us this year. Pretty much daily, he would comment on how pretty the tree was or remind me that he helped decorate it.
This year, we also had a first...the arrival of our elf, Harry. We explained to Hudson (and Sissy) that Harry can't be touched or his powers of talking to Santa would go away. We also used and abused the "Harry is watching you" thing waaaay to much this month. Hudson loved waking up every morning and seeing where Harry was. In our house, he just hangs from random places, sits on trees, etc... He doesn't get crazy.

Hudson's love for Harry about equals my love for dressing the kiddies in Christmas outfits. I just can't stop myself.

Lillian and Barnes in front of the tree in the dining room.
Chickfila thursday mornings with Mccall and Walt. These babies love eachother!

Thread Social (my bffs Jamie and Katie's clothing business) had their first home party this month.
My role is the janitor. Obviously, I gave myself a title because I don't like to feel left out. Ha!
Thread is killing it and I am so so proud of them! Plus, they keep me dressing cute which is always a plus. Please follow Thread Social on FB and insta. You won't regret it!
Sweet babies in sweet pima
Ty and Elizabeth's couples shower in Mccomb. Thank you Johna for hosting it at your beautiful house! We can't wait for the wedding in New Orleans in March....parents weekend away! what what!!!
We donned our matching pjs several times and went to look at Christmas lights in Madison. Again, Hudson was over the moon excited! And Lillian even loved them too
Barnes and that face. He says "I'm done"
And Sissy "rough hugger" Lindley
What a difference a year makes.
Please notice a few things: 1. Lillian's hair. Wow! I love those locks. 2. In the left pic, sweet Barnesy was in my tummy and now (right pic), he is large and in charge 3. Hudson Lindley no longer wears footed pjs (insert serious mommy tears)
Heading out for round 2 of Christmas lights
Love these babies!

We went to visit Santa in Livingston this year. I booked a santa session with my friend Becca Stewart, but our Christmas outfits didn't come in time for the session....total FWPs!
Kiki came with us to help maintain the wild crew
And we met Jamie and Cooper there too!
Hudson LOVED santa and would smile for days and days.
Sissy...not so much. She was just not having it on this day. Bless. Maybe next year!
We tried!

November catch up

After the big birthday party and fall/halloween in October, we went full speed ahead into November.

We started out the month with Mistletoe week, our big Junior League event of the year. And, of course, Joey had a big OR conference in PA that entire week. So thankful for my mom, as she was able to help with the kiddies while I did my shifts and went to the gala.

Since Joey was out of town, Lexie was my hot date for the Gala. And let me tell you, we had a blast!
Kayla and Seth even let us crash their gala date night.
As always, the decor was amazing and the food and drink was so yummy!
My crispy date!
Sweet Seth with his ladies.
Confession: I got alittle wasted tipsy and couldn't focus to shop.
Don't hate, I don't get much time away from the kids.
Whenever me and Lex get together, I swear we just laugh and laugh. Love her big!
Such a fun night! But just like cinderella, the clock strikes midnight (10 pm) and it was time to go home. And you can count on your besties Jamie and Katie for coming to pick up a wasted tipsy mommy in a cocktail dress and spray tan.

Moving on, look how cute these babies are in their fall smocked!
Sweet Sissy and B. These two seriously love eachother!
And for Thanksgiving (or the week before), I got a new sister!
Brett proposed to Meredith and she said YES! She is the sweetest thing and I can not wait for her to join our family!
Birthday besties Barnes and Ford got to play
Hudson's Thanksgiving program at school. The cutest thing ever!

They had been practicing so hard for weeks and weeks. I already knew every song by heart.
Please look at this cute pilgrim.

Daddy even got to come! He was entertaining Lillian and Walt
Kiki and Hudson
So thankful for this sweet school and our family!
Not pictured: Lillian running around like a crazy person
Hudson loves his teacher, Mrs. Brooks.
By this time, he was over pictures!

Up next, Jamie's birthday at Caet Small Plates.
Yummy (and small) food! Wonderful fellowship!
The ladies of Silent Janitor: Jamie, Katie and me
Love them BIG BIG!
This is Barnes' face when he doesn't want something. So funny!
Thanksgiving in Mccomb. All the Lindley cousins!
A fun Sunday for my big boy- He got to ride a pony and his first movie!
We saw The Good Dinosaur
I think he ate an entire bucket of popcorn
Loving his life.
And when he was ready to go (about an hour into the movie), he politely said "Lets go home now please" Sweet boy! Its amazing how different (and much more calm) he acts when we have solo time with him.
Barnes did NOT like getting on all fours.

That about sums up our November.
Happy Thanksgiving!
